Celebrating Strictly Education's 20th Anniversary Conference 🌟

Strictly Education Staff Conference 2024

On Wednesday, May 8th, all of us at Strictly Education gathered at The Ridgeway Centre in Milton Keynes to celebrate '20 years of making a difference' since our establishment in 2004. The day was a testament to two decades of dedication, innovation, and collaboration. We were truly inspired by the insights and perspectives shared by our guest speakers, Karen Rooney, Chief People Officer, Ian Koxvold, Head of Education, Strategy & Corporate Development from our parent company, Supporting Education Group, and Rachel Stothard from The Education Company. Their collective wisdom reaffirmed our commitment to supporting education and improving outcomes for children and young people, igniting a renewed sense of purpose among us all.

Heather Marchbank, our Managing Director, captured the essence of the day: "It was a dynamic event where our employees united to celebrate our achievements, discuss our goals, and enhance collaboration. We added fun with special ’20 years cupcakes’ and a spaghetti and marshmallow tower-building game, resulting in much laughter and creativity. Congratulations to Mark Churchward for winning the ‘Who Wants to Be a Strictly Millionaire’ quiz!"

One of the highlights of the event was our vibrant marketplace, where employees had the opportunity to learn more about the breadth of services Strictly Education offers, from Payroll and HR to Finance, MIS, Governance, and Premises support and the impact of our work on #schools and #multi-academy trusts across England.

A particularly special moment was the launch of The Strictly Stars Awards, our initiative to celebrate and recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals and teams within our organisation. Thanks to Liam Donnison, Group MD of the Education Management Services Division of Supporting Education Group who presented several of the awards. It was heartening to see our colleagues honoured for their dedication and excellence.

As we reflect on commemorating 20 years of making a difference, we are filled with gratitude for the trust and support of our clients and partners who have been with us every step of the way and thank you to all our employees, whose presence made this event truly special.
