Education Resource Awards 2022 Finalists

Strictly Education is shortlisted once again for the prestigious award for collaboration.

Strictly Education is delighted to be shortlisted for the second year in a row for the Education Resource Award (ERA) 2022 for Collaboration Between Supplier & School, for the finance support provided to Coopers Company & Coborn School.

The project that commenced in 2021 has been transformational for Upminster-based school, and not only included a review and restructure of their finance operations, but a full tender process with scoring to procure a new finance system. Working together, the collaboration achieved direct cash savings over £1,000 per annum and a claw-back of 195 for the headteacher Sue Hay’s time each year.

Reflecting on the successes of the project Sue said “We couldn't have embarked upon this project at the time without Strictly’s support. There is no way it would have happened because I can't stress how challenging it was to run a school at the height of COVID. But I could absolutely trust Strictly to get on with it when I had to divert my attention elsewhere. They provided a level of trust, security and customer service that is absolutely crucial to helping schools at such a turbulent time.”

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 6th of May in Birmingham. The group head of finance services for Strictly Education – Steve Bulmer – will be in attendance with guests. Joining fellow finalists with celebrity host Paul Sinha.
