National School Governors’ Awareness Day 2022

Strictly Education is proud to be a founding supporter of National School Governors’ Awareness Day, taking place on 22nd February 2022.

The event has been created to raise awareness of governance in schools and academy trusts and to celebrate the contribution that governors and trustees make to improving the lives of children and young people and the overall effectiveness of their schools.

There are more than 300,000 school governors in England, which constitutes the largest single group of volunteers in the world. Strictly Education is championing school governance and raise its profile within our wider communities.

How to get involved

School governors are invited to share their experience and advice by uploading a short video to the National School Governors’ Awareness Day website. Headteachers can send a free eCard to members of their school’s governing body.
