Strictly Education continues to promote and empower the work of school governors with our founding partnership of National School Governors' Awareness Day, which takes place on 29th February 2024. This year, we are excited to announce our theme: Governance of Inclusion. As schools strive to create environments that are truly inclusive, the role of school governance becomes increasingly vital. Considering this, we have curated a full day of free webinars focusing on equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion – topics that are at the forefront of educational discourse. Join us on Thursday 29th February as we delve into these critical issues and explore strategies for promoting inclusion within our schools.

Keynote Address

We are honoured to have Fiona Millar, renowned education and parenting journalist for The Guardian, deliver the keynote address at 12:30 pm. Fiona's extensive experience as both a chair of governors at a North London secondary school and a patron of NASED uniquely positions her to offer valuable insights on our theme. Question Time Session with Expert Governance Panel

The day will culminate in a Question Time session featuring our expert governance panel, hosted and moderated by Steve Barker, Head of Governance Services at Strictly Education. This interactive session will provide attendees with the opportunity to pose questions and engage in discussions on governance of inclusion.
